THE STRANGER

If you should wander along the path one day

and you should meet a stranger along the way;

Would you be friendly and offer your hand…

or would you carry on as you had planned?

If he should tell you of wonders untold,

stories like treasures he could unfold;

Would you listen to what they were about…

or would you hesitate and in him doubt?

Would you stop and give him your time,

share with him because you’re mine?

Would you walk away without a glance,

never considering, never giving a chance?

I wonder what would happen if you could see,

and if you ever found out – the stranger was me!
